It will definitely be a good year for the Cello...the Mets..well . I have let the cello slip due to a move and a new house that needed work, but I have made a resolution to get back into it full force by the end of the month (once the downstairs bathroom is roughed out) :)
I can't believe I didn't contact you when I was in NY this last time! I'm an east coaster for the time being (Baltimore) and I should be up there again before long.
The cello beginning: January 2002 lessons at the age of 55.
The cello dream: someday playing in a chamber orchestra or string quartet.
The cello reality: struggling to keep my place while rehearsing with a local pops orchestra.

Happy New Year, Donna! One of my resolutions is to practice my trumpet each week--I'd love to join a local musical group again. Or play in church. XO
