I think about this often, Donna. Especially now that we're a month into the new year. Unfortunately it doesn't alway help me--I'm usually taking half as long to eat twice as much...ho, hum.
The cello beginning: January 2002 lessons at the age of 55.
The cello dream: someday playing in a chamber orchestra or string quartet.
The cello reality: struggling to keep my place while rehearsing with a local pops orchestra.

It can't be donuts ...
Eating slowly gives the brain enough time to know that the stomach is full. The food tastes better that way too.
